Hello dblock,

I would like to thank you again for your work on ResourceLib, however, we have not seen any updates to the library ever since last year. Do you have any plans on updating it?

Again, thank you so much for this wonderful library.

I didn't need any features and the library is working well. Is there anything specific that you're looking for?

Well, I was wondering if you could update your code so that it would work on Vista. The library still hangs on Vista machines.

Allow me to attach the research i've done related to the problem.

"What I tried to do is run this code on Vista, and thats where I got the "request not supported" error. Then I thought I'll just import the ResourceLib project into my solution and I'll reference the project instead of the compiled DLL. The error became much more specific this time. Apparently, the "UpdateResource" funtion in kernel32.dll on Vista is buggy according to a couple of sources, and that is where MSVS2008 keeps breaking at in the ResourceLib code."

Thanks and regards,

I've been using ResourceLib on Vista just fine - you should post a repro of your problem.
